Buick Enclave Interior: The 2011 Enclave's cabin is very spacious, with plenty of room for up to eight passengers and cargo. In addition, it's extremely upscale for its class and boasts plenty of standard and optional features. The Enclave's seating is comfortable, the second row can seat either two or three, depending on whether it's ordered with the bench seat or captain's chairs. If you go with the captain’s chairs, you can add a center console that includes cup holders, storage and a 12-volt power outlet. Heated front seats are standard on mid-level CXL models, while top-of-the-line CXL2 models add a cooling function.
The Enclave features plenty of standard features -- including seating for up to eight, a tilt and telescopic steering column, OnStar and tri-zone automatic climate control. Families with kids may be interested in the optional audio system with rear seat entertainment. You can also add navigation to the system (which includes a backup camera).
The Enclave's cargo capacity provides a maximum of 115= cubic feet of space if you fold down the second and third rows.
Buick Enclave Performance: The Buick Enclave provides smooth, sedan-like performance, and is fun to drive. Thanks to a horsepower boost in 2009, the Enclave also provides more than adequate acceleration. The Enclave is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 288 horsepower. It's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Enclave shines above the competition with its car-like handling and extremely smooth ride. Optional all-wheel drive available and is great for driving around Cincinnati and northern Kentucky when we have snowy weather.
Buick Enclave Safety: The Enclave’s safety features are comparable to those of its in-class competitors. These include driver and passenger air bags, four-wheel antilock disc brakes, OnStar Automatic Crash Reponse and Roadside Assistance, StabiliTrak Traction Control System. Rear Parking Assist is standard for CXL and CXL2 models, but isn’t available on base CX models. The optional navigation system includes a backup camera and is available for higher trim levels.
